This Intellectual Property Rights Policy (“IP Policy”) governs the ownership, protection, use, and enforcement of all intellectual property associated with ZYNK Events and its event properties.
This Policy applies to all users, partners, vendors, sponsors, artists, collaborators, attendees, and any third party interacting with ZYNK Events or its intellectual property in any manner.
1. Company Ownership Declaration
All intellectual property created, developed, conceived, curated, produced, managed, marketed, or operated by ZYNK Events, whether independently or in collaboration with third parties, is the exclusive property of ZYNK Events, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
This includes intellectual property related to:
- Events
- Event formats and concepts
- Brand identities
- Media content
- Digital assets
- Commercial materials
2. Scope of Intellectual Property Covered
2.1 Event Intellectual Property
Event-related intellectual property includes, without limitation:
- Event names, titles, taglines, slogans
- Event concepts, formats, structures, flows, and frameworks
- Event themes, narratives, stage designs, layouts, and experiences
- Competition formats, scoring systems, and rules
All event IPs are protected whether registered or unregistered.
2.2 Brand and Trademark Rights
All trademarks, logos, brand names, wordmarks, stylizations, visual identities, and trade dress associated with ZYNK Events or its events are owned exclusively by ZYNK Events.
Unauthorized use, imitation, or association—direct or indirect—is strictly prohibited.
2.3 Copyrighted Works
ZYNK Events owns all copyrights in:
- Website content
- Marketing materials
- Event creatives and artwork
- Videos, photographs, recordings, livestreams
- Audio-visual productions
- Written content, graphics, and designs
Copyright protection applies globally, regardless of registration status.
2.4 Digital, Media & Technology Assets
This includes:
- Websites, microsites, landing pages
- Databases, content structures, UI/UX designs
- Social media content and handles
- Mobile or digital event platforms
All rights are fully reserved by ZYNK Events.
3. Ownership of Collaborative & Commissioned Works
Any intellectual property created:
- By employees
- By freelancers
- By contractors
- By agencies
- By volunteers
- By collaborators
in connection with ZYNK Events shall be deemed a “work made for hire”, and all rights shall vest exclusively in ZYNK Events, unless a written agreement states otherwise.
No implied ownership or license shall be assumed.
4. Limited License to Users
ZYNK Events grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view content solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Users may not:
- Copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute content
- Commercially exploit any event IP
- Create derivative works
- Use IP for competing events or services
Any unauthorized use automatically terminates this license.
5. Prohibition on Infringement & Misuse
You may not:
- Replicate or imitate event formats or concepts
- Use confusingly similar names or branding
- Register domains, social handles, or trademarks resembling ZYNK Events IP
- Claim association, endorsement, or ownership
ZYNK Events reserves the right to pursue civil, criminal, and injunctive remedies.
6. Media Capture & Event Footage Rights
By attending or participating in ZYNK Events:
- You grant ZYNK Events the irrevocable right to capture, record, reproduce, and use your image, likeness, voice, and performance
- Such usage may be for marketing, commercial, archival, or promotional purposes
- No compensation or credit is required unless expressly agreed
All event footage remains the exclusive property of ZYNK Events.
7. User-Generated Content (UGC)
If users submit content related to ZYNK Events:
- Users retain ownership of their content
- Users grant ZYNK Events a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, modify, and commercialize such content
ZYNK Events is under no obligation to use or retain submitted content.
8. Enforcement and Legal Action
ZYNK Events actively enforces its intellectual property rights.
This may include:
- Cease-and-desist notices
- Takedown requests
- Injunctions
- Monetary damages
- Criminal complaints where applicable
Failure to act in one instance does not waive future enforcement rights.
9. No Waiver of Rights
Nothing in this Policy shall be construed as:
- A waiver of rights
- A transfer of ownership
- An implied license
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
10. Global Protection & Jurisdiction
ZYNK Events’ intellectual property is protected under:
- Indian Copyright Act, 1957
- Indian Trademarks Act, 1999
- Information Technology Act, 2000
- International IP principles and conventions
Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
11. Policy Updates
ZYNK Events reserves the right to update this Intellectual Property Rights Policy at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
